Artist Bio:
Alexis Gomez was born in 1994 in Fairfax, Virginia. He received his BFA from the Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at the George Washington University. He's exhibited at the Taubman Museum of Art, Smithsonian Arts and Industries Building, DC Arts Center, Cody Gallery, Maryland Art Place, Transformer DC, among many others. His work has been featured in The Washington Post, Whurk Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, and more. Gomez is currently an artist in residence at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, where he is working on augmented reality sculptures and virtual reality experiences.
