The debut Acquired Taste publication serves as an editorial companion to Art Shopping Network’s premiere exhibition and live auction program.

Limited to 50 copies, Acquired Taste Publication 1 brings together original contributions from artists Alexis Gomez and Shori Sims, alongside an exclusive interview on stewardship with the former personal chef of Chuck Close, Kristopher Edelen, whose exceptional print of Self-Portrait (Yellow Raincoat) anchors the exhibition as a featured placed work. The publication is punctuated by a series of archival Polaroids documenting the evolution of Art Shopping Network—from its first virtual art auction to Acquired Taste—capturing collectors and the atmospheres surrounding the program’s development.

Poppy Baker contributes a critical survey of every Acquired Taste auction lot except his own, offering commentary and reflections on the works shaping the exhibition.
